HELLO!

Growing up in Bloomington, Illinois, Anabelle Chinski has always been drawn to the arts and moved to Chicago to pursue illustrative opportunities and begin her career. Anabelle has experimented with a plethora of media and styles, but primarily works with a mix of traditional and digital illustration. In her spare time, she enjoys printmaking, reading fantasy or mystery novels, and working behind the scenes in theatrical productions.

Although her interests in illustration span various markets, she currently has created work in the pattern design, greeting card, children’s book, and architectural illustration markets. As a freelance illustrator outside of her studies at Columbia College Chicago, Anabelle is primarily commissioned for traditional illustrations of animal or profile portraiture. Additionally, she has worked as an intern with the marketing agency Madak to illustrate collections of holiday/special occasion-based gift bags for the company’s clients.

Over the past few years, her illustrations have been featured in galleries such as the Child Protection Network Silent Auction, CCC’s Wabash Art Crawl and Work in Progress, ShopColumbia’s March of Miniatures, and on an exterior wall of NewCity shopping mall in Chicago, Illinois.
